G Convertible

Performance

Powerful engine

Opening the throttle on the G Convertible is unlike any other sports car in its classe; the V6 3.7L engine with VVEL (Variable Valve Event and Lift) delivers an organic swell as the strong torque combines with the powerful thrust to create an exhilarating experience. Plus, with the majority of the engine weight behind the front wheel axle, handling is crisp, agile and responsive.

Perfect handling

With reinforced body rigidity, responsive linear steering and a high level of stability, the G Convertible handles perfectly. Steering and braking are constantly monitored by the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) which kicks in if you have to swerve suddenly. In slippery conditions, the Traction Control System (TCS) gives your rear wheels greater grip. So whether you’re cornering on your way to an Alpine ski resort or accelerating on an open coastal road, the feedback from the steering wheel is precise, dynamic and satisfying. Choice of transmissions

The 7 speed automatic transmission of the G Convertible has been perfectly tuned to bring out the sports genes that are fundamental to Infiniti. In manual mode, the Adaptive Shift Control (ASC) ensures optimum engine speed when shifting for smoother changes. Alternatively, if it suits your style more, choose the 6 speed manual transmission. Controlled braking

Allied to the alloy wheels, the massive 355mm ventilated front discs with 4 piston opposed callipers ensure more controlled braking as you slow down. As your car picks up speed, and you put your foot on the brake pedal, its firmness progressively increases, meaning you can brake with greater confidence.
