MEET THE DRIVERS
A freelance motoring journalist based in Wilmslow, Cheshire. His writing has appeared in Press Association Motoring, AOL Cars, and Car Dealer Magazine. He has covered vans, supercars and everything in between.
In his long career, Martin has written for Autocar, Auto Trader, The Big Issue, and the Telegraph. He is a columnist with Classic Car and is the former commissioning editor for the Evening Standard’s Wheels supplement.
A frequent contributor to The Scotsman, Motorsnorth, Tartan Tarmac, BBC Scotland and Scottish Television, Alan is also a member of the Institute of Advanced Motorists. He holds a car, bus, lorry, and motorbike licence.
WHERE WE DROVE
